A new four-week online course covering all aspects of performing traditional music on the acoustic guitar including technique, tone, rhythm, groove, phrasing, harmony, accompaniment, extemporisation, learning by ear and more.

Dave Malkin is an experienced and established workshop leader and teacher. He has taught at institutions and festivals such as Centre for Young Musicians, Guildhall Young Artists, Folkworks, Aldeburgh Young Musicians, Cambridge Folk Festival and Halsway Manor.

Each hour-long workshop will be available live, via Zoom. If you can’t attend the live broadcast, or wish to recap anything, a recording of each workshop will be provided. Workshops will be taught by ear, but notation will also be made available. 

Saturday February 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th at 9am.
